Terms & Conditions

Please read this list of terms & conditions and ensure that you agree before making your booking.

Payments

Online bookings are provisional until confirmed by email or in the post, and you are required to make a deposit payment of £100 per week per apartment within 7 days of making your booking or your booking may be cancelled.
The remaining balance is due no later than 42 days before arrival.

Payment can be made online (sort code 30-95-66; account 00675168), via PayPal, BACS bank transfer or cheque made to Baptist Holiday Apartments’

You are welcome to pay smaller amounts leading up to the holiday as long as full payment has been received 42 days before arrival.

Arrival & Departure

You can check-in from 5pm on the day of your arrival.

You may arrive earlier and store a small amount of luggage on-site so you can enjoy Minehead before checking in by prior arrangement only.

You have use of our car park from 12 noon on the day of your arrival.

On the day of departure, you must check out by 9.30am at the latest.

You may store a small amount of luggage on-site so you can spend your last day in Minehead by prior arrangement only.

You have use of our car park until 12 noon on the day of your departure.

Assistance Dogs

Registered assistance dogs are welcome in selected apartments free of charge, if included in your booking. Please bear this in mind if you have pet allergies.

Baptist Minister Discount

Baptist Ministers (training, practising or retired) are entitled to 25% off the cost of their holiday.

We check all details against the Baptist Ministry Database to ensure entitlement of the 25% discount.

Those who are not entitled the 25% discount will be required to pay the full amount.

Bed Linen & Towels

One set of bed linen is provided for your stay, per week.

Additional bed linen is available for an additional cost.

Towels are not provided unless you request them if you’re travelling via public transport.

Cleaning

Cleaning is carried out before your arrival. All we ask is that you please help by stripping your beds, taking out your rubbish and leaving it generally clean & tidy before departure, to help us get it ready for the next guests.

Cleaning is not provided during your stay.

Complaints

We would hope that you have a lovely stay, but please let us know if you have a complaint so we can deal with it as quickly as possible.

Please be aware, if you do not register your complaint during your stay, it may be difficult to provide retrospective assistance.

Cots & Highchairs

If you require the use of a cot or highchair, these are available upon request when you book.

The use of our cots or highchairs are subject to availability.

There is no additional charge for the use of our cots or highchairs.

You will need to provide your own cot sheets.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in selected apartments and these are subject to availability – please check when you book.

Dogs are charged at £25 per week per dog up to a maximum of 2 dogs between September – End of June and a maximum of 1 dog between July – August.

You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour and any damage caused by your dog.

Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and you should bring a basket/bed for them to sleep in.

Dogs should not be left unattended in the apartment unless crated.

If your dog uses our garden please pick up after them, please be aware our garden does not have dog proof boundaries.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach in Minehead between May and the end of September.

Electricity & Gas

Gas and electricity are included in the price of the accommodation. This includes the use of central heating.

Extra Persons

We have two available portable bed which can be put up in any apartment.

There is a charge of £25 per week for an additional person.

Additional beds are subject to availability and need to be pre-booked.

Insurance

We suggest that you obtain travel insurance to insure your trip in case you need to cancel within 28 days of arrival.

You are responsible to obtain any required insurances relating to your trip and stay.

Keys

You will be asked for a £10 cash deposit for your room key, fully refundable on return of your key when you leave.

You will be provided with two keys to your apartment upon arrival.

Lost keys will be charged for at £5 per a key, payable before departure.

We cannot provide any additional keys to the apartments.

Length of Bookings

We accept bookings for a minimum of 4 days (short breaks) between September and mid-July.

Short breaks are charged at a slightly higher rate per night compared with 7 night bookings.

We only accept 7, 14, 21, & 28 night bookings between mid-July & end of August.

Noise

We respectfully ask that you keep noise to a minimum to allow other guests to enjoy the peace that we have to offer.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on site.

Cancellations

Please carefully read our cancellation policy so you understand our process if you need to cancel your stay.

If you would like to, or need to cancel please call us as soon as possible on 01643 703473.

Cancellations 29 days or more before arrival:

You will be refunded the balance that has been paid other than your £80 deposit.

You will be refunded by cheque to the lead booker’s name.

Cancellations 28 days or less before arrival:

If you cancel within 28 days of arrival, you will only be refunded 20% of the total amount paid unless another booking is made for the same dates in the same apartment. You will only then lose your £80 deposit.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO A GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL, UNLESS WE CAN ARRANGE AN ALTERNATIVE DATE WITH YOU.

Insurance

You should ensure you have the correct level of insurance to cover any costs of cancellation.

You will be required to make any claim against your insurance.
